V-VAC+: Smart Entrance Gate System Using e-KTP
V-VAC+: Smart Entrance Gate System Using e-KTP Field: Robotics & Programming Project Description Prototype of automatic access gate to verify user vaccination status using RFID/NFC based e-KTP without relying on smartphone applications. This system is directly integrated with a contactless body temperature scanner, visual and audio status indicators, and an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser. Hardware Specifications * Microcontroller: Arduino Nano V3.0 & ESP-01. * Sensors & Input: RFID RC522 (e-KTP UID reader), MLX90614 Temperature Sensor, and Proximity Sensor. * Output: Grove LCD 16x2 RGB Backlight, DFPlayer Mini + Speaker, and Submersible DC Pump. * Power Management: Step-Down Buck Converter LM2596 and IC Regulator 78xx. System Workflow * The user attaches the e-KTP to the RC522 RFID module. * The system identifies 4 statuses: Complete Vaccine, 1st Dose, Not Vaccinated, or Card Not Registered. * Status is displayed on the RGB LCD (green background for access permitted, red for access denied) accompanied by voice guidance from the DFPlayer module. * If the status is valid, the system scans body temperature (safe limit \le 37^\circ\text{C}) and activates the automatic hand sanitizer pump. Roles & Responsibilities * Designing power distribution and hardware wiring between microcontrollers, RFID modules, displays, audio modules, temperature sensors and pump relays. * Calibrate infrared temperature sensor readings and adjust the active time duration of the sanitizer pump. * Prepare scientific papers, electronic circuit schematics, and system technical documentation for judging sessions. Achievement * National Level 2nd Runner Up: Robotics & Programming Innovation Work Category — OASE I PTKI throughout Indonesia (2021). * Top 5 Technological Innovations: Science and Technology Festival (2021).
